Literature Text

A friend is true, honest and comforting in your time of trouble,
If you ever needed love from them they'd show you double,
Friends are there for you through thick and thin,
They’re there at the beginning and they'll be there ‘til the end.

They are straight forward with you and offer encouraging words,
Friends listen to your problems, they let you know you’re heard,
Sometimes you may fight and this is true,
But a true friend shall forever reside in you.

Friends are there always giving their best,
True friendship can pass any troubling test,
Friends will come and friends will go,
But a true friend will always let you know,
That you can count on them wherever you go.

If you know anyone who fits this description to a “T,”
Then their a true friend and always will be,
Never take these type of friends for granted,
But use them instead to your advantage.
Well, our last day of school was yesterday and of course I cried. I cried for many reasons but one of the main ones is because I have so many loving friends and I'm going to miss all of you this summer. I wrote this in a tribute to thank you all for everything you've done for me this year, it means a lot and I hope you know how much you've helped me along the way. Without you guys I would be nothing. So please take this as a token of my gratitude and please stay in touch! I love you all!

This shows some excellent insight into what exactly friendship is. You also did a wonderful job with the flow of the poem and the words that chose to use. Very well done.
